Konaxx Onions BV has been active since 2000, originally emerging from the company known as Meijer Uienexport BV, a well-established name in the Northern Dutch onion trade. Konaxx is a company with a healthy ambition, and we take pride in being packers and sorters of primarily Frisian onions. Additionally, we can also supply potatoes, cabbage, carrots, beets, celeriac, and rutabagas.

We are located in Sint Jacobiparochie, Friesland, in the northern part of the Netherlands. Annually, our young and enthusiastic team sorts, packs, and trades over 25,000 tons of onions. Our packaging ranges from 4 kg to 25 kg, and we also provide deliveries in big bags and bulk. Our customers are mainly wholesalers and exporters. Our motto is ‘Every onion wants to be a Konaxx Onion’.

Ceba

My name is Ceba. They also call me “the office dog”.

Since 2023, I have joined the team at Konaxx where I play a particularly important role. My days mainly consist of ensuring the right balance and atmosphere in the office. As the office dog, I know better than anyone that the people at Konaxx work very hard!

So, my role is to help them relax. I mostly do this by lying at someone’s feet, preferably under or next to the desk. When my boss Ulbe is out for procurement and I can’t join, I’ll snuggle up next to Tjerk, who greatly appreciates my calming effect!

Visitors can expect that I take guarding the Konaxx fortress seriously. With my black nose, I inspect everyone who enters. Good people can count on a hug from me!

In my free time, I enjoy running around the fields of Minnertsga.
